GBS - Vietnamese credit institutions and foreign bank branches in Vietnam continue to see a bright business outlook for 2015, according to a survey of the State Bank of Vietnam’s Monetary Forecasting and Statistics Department.
GBS - Moody's has placed six Vietnamese banks on positive outlook, the credit rating agency announced on its website on Monday.
Transactions are carried out at the Vietnam International Bank. Moody's has upgrade the ratings of this bank by one notch to B2.
GBS - Shares continued to rise on February 11 and on the Hochiminh Stock Exchange, with the VN-Index adding 1.26 percent to reach 581.76 points.
GBS - Southern Airport Services Company (Sasco), a major seller of goods and services in Tan Son Nhat airport, plans to offer 31,097,900 shares, or a 23.65 per cent stake, at its IPO at an initial price of VND10,000(0.47 US cent)/share.

Some leading stocks, notably PetroVietnam Gas (GAS), spearheaded the rally. GAS increased strongly following news that its mother company, PetroVietnam, discovered the country's largest gas field in the central coast.
GBS - The State Bank of Vietnam has allowed Vietnam Prosperity Bank (VPBank) to acquire Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Finance Company (CMF), the Saigon Times Daily reported on July 2.
